SUPPORT
YOUTH BASKETBALL
EDUCATION

The most common basketball-related injury among children is ankle sprain. It is estimated that 22% of American children who play basketball will get injured in this way. Kids are often unfamilar with the science behind basketball and unaware of the potential harm due to poor footwork, ankle support and training plans. By educating kids and parents on anatomy of the structures related to ankle sprains, we hope to train kids to prevent future injuries. We offer free reliable and practical workshops as well as resources to educate and train kids through a scientific and medical perspective on basketball. We work with meidcal professionals such as doctors from children hospitals, pediatrician and physical therapist.

BLYB has been creating a space for ALL children and parents to find information related to sport injury prevention. We also see the need to create and share content that can continue these efforts and empower kids even after these events. Your contribution will allow us to continue to host events and create content that will help cultivate stories from our attendees that we hope to share with you.
